Brent texted me today, and I can honestly say I felt nothing, I feel nothing in regards to him. I’ve gotten so sick of his mixed signals, and putting me on the back burner for his ex, but I think the deal breaker was his reaction to our conversation the other day. Its taken me a while to just turn these feelings off, but they’re off for good.
Sometimes, I notice how manipulative I can be. I always think harshly of those who do or say things to get under the skin of others, then I notice myself being hypocritical when I get a smug satisfaction from doing that very thing. I am honestly and only a walking contradiction.
I love when it turns out that I’m not being irrational or overthinking things at all, which oddly is most of the time. I think I’m just very intuitive about peoples true wants and sometimes mistake it for being insane.

As much as it pains me to say anything remotely nice about Rick Santorum, I must admit he is the most honest and open of the Republican candidates, and is willing to admit when he makes a mistake. I commend him for that, despite my deep abhorrence of every other value and opinion he has.

It annoyed me how basically every male that came in contact with Effy fell in love with her, the characters were extremely shallow in their desires and unrealistic. The only character I liked was the blond girl, and her not even so much.
